South Carolina is a southeastern state in the United States of America. It is known for it’s subtropical beaches and sea islands. It’s a very historical place with plenty to explore and see.

The University of South Carolina was founded in 1801 and it was rechartered in 1906 as a university and then became a national institution in the 20th and 21st centuries.

The university has a total of 15 colleges and a huge 324 unique degree courses to choose from. They offer undergraduate as well as postgraduate opportunities and aim to give the students the best opportunities to thrive in their education.

There are a wide wide range of facilities for you to use during your studies in South Carolina, including a total of 6 libraries! These are a selection of 4 of the libraries that the university have:

They include a 24 hour library which has thousands of online journals and million volumes in print, it also has a coffee shop which is ideal for those study breaks.

There are plenty of places on campus for students to live as well as off campus housing too.

Sports are a big part of university life and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved and take part in any of the sports. If playing sports isn’t your thing, you can always attend a game with friends.
